【摘要】:Excessivelevelsofhydrogensulfideinthevaporphaseaboveresidualfueloilsinstoragetanksmayresultinhealthhazard,OSHAlimitsviolation,andpubliccomplaint.AnadditionalconcerniscorrosionthatcanbecausedbythepresenceofH2Sduringrefiningandotherproductionactivities.ControlmeasurestomaintainsafelevelsofH2SrequireaconsistentmethodfortheassessmentofpotentiallyhazardouslevelsofH2Sinfueloils.(Warning8212;H2Sisahighlytoxicsubstance.ExtremecaremustbeusedinthesamplingandhandlingofsamplesthataresuspectedofcontaininghighlevelsofH2S.)Aconcentrationof0.1x03BC;g/g(ppmw)ofH2SintheliquidphaseofaNo.4,5,or6residualfueloilcangenerateanactualgasconcentrationof10to100x03BC;L/L(ppmv)ofH2Sinthevaporphase;thereforeanaccurateanalyticalmethodisrequiredtodeterminethetotalH2Sconcentrationoftheseresidualfueloils.Thistestmethodwasdevelopedsorefiners,fuelterminaloperators,andindependenttestinglaboratorypersonnelcananalyticallymeasuretheamountofH2Sinresidualfueloils.TestMethodD5705providesasimpleandconsistentfieldtestmethodfortherapiddeterminationofH2Sintheresidualfueloilsstoragetankvaporphase.However,itdoesnotnecessarilysimulatethevaporphaseH2SconcentrationofafuelstoragetanknordoesitprovideanyindicationoftheliquidphaseH2Sconcentration.ThistestmethodprovidesaquantitativemeasureofaresidualfueloilsliquidphaseH2Sconcentration.ItrequiresalaboratoryandaskilledoperatortoperformthetestbutgivesamorequantitativeindicationofpotentialH2SexposurethanTestMethodD5705.Note18212;Becauseofthereactivity,absorptivity,andvolatilityofH2SanymeasurementmethodonlyprovidesanH2Sconcentrationatagivenmomentintime.1.1Thistestmethodcoversamethodsuitableformeasuringthetotalamountofhydrogensulfide(H2S)inheavydistillates,heavydistillate/residualfuelblends,orresidualfuelsasdefinedinSpecificationD396Grade4,5(Light),5(Heavy),and6,whentheH2Sconcentrationinthefuelisinthe0.01to100g/g(ppmw)range.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see5.1,7.5,8.2,9.2,10.1.4,and11.1.

【摘要】:ProductdefinitionThisspecificationcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementsofafullyinstalledspliceclosureinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseverityanddurationarerepresentativeofanoutsideplantforsubterraneanand/oraerialenvironmentsdefinedby:ETS300019class8.1:undergroundlocations(withoutearthquakerequirement)IEC61753-1categoryS:subterraneanenvironmentcategoryA:aerialenvironmentReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.AllowedfibreandcabletypesAlthoughtheperformancetestsarecarriedoutontestsampleswithdispersionunshiftedsinglemodefibre(seeAnnexA),theclosure,oncetestedaccordingtothisproductspecification,willbealsosuitedforotherfibretypeslikedispersionshifted,non-zerodispersionshiftedandmulti-modefibres.ThisclosurestandardallowsbothsinglemodeandmultimodefibretobeusedandcoversallIECstandardopticalfibrecableswiththeirvariousfibrecapacities,typesanddesigns.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto,opticalfibrecablestandardsEN60794-2(indoor),EN60794-3(outdoor).
