【摘要】:Thepurposeofthistestistoobtainvaluesofshrinkageafterdryingandfiringofclaysorbodiesorboth,undervariousprocessingconditionstoenabledesignerstodeterminethepropersizeofmoldordiesoastoproduceapredeterminedsizeoffiredware.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoflinearshrinkageofceramicwhitewareclays,bothunfiredandfired.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
