【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatestheoxidationstabilityofengineoilsforgasolineautomotiveengines.Thistest,runat160?C,utilizesahighpressurereactorpressurizedwithoxygenalongwithametalcatalystpackage,afuelcatalyst,andwaterinapartialsimulationoftheconditionstowhichanoilmaybesubjectedinagasolinecombustionengine.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforengineoilswithviscosityintherangefrom4mm/s(cSt)to21mm/s(cSt)at100?C,includingre-refinedoils.Thistestmethodisnotasubstitutefortheenginetestingofanengineoilinestablishedenginetests,suchasSequenceIIID.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.
